LEGAL
Cancellation
Clarity before booking. Statutory rights do not depend on a commercial policy.
Working draft · 12 October 2026. These texts require professional validation in Mexico and Spain and confirmation of the indicated details before bookings or data collection are enabled. They do not replace legal advice.
Commercial terms still to be confirmed
Voluntary cancellation deadlines, deposits, amounts retained, name changes, rescheduling and refunds will be set by experience and disclosed before payment. [TO BE CONFIRMED]. No general penalty, refund percentage or “non-refundable” rule can be inferred from this page. Hidden or retroactive terms will not apply.
Spain: withdrawal and exceptions
For distance consumer contracts, there is generally a 14-calendar-day withdrawal period for a service from conclusion of the contract, unless a statutory exception applies. Where applicable, instructions and the statutory form will be provided before contracting; using a template is not mandatory if you clearly communicate your decision. Where a withdrawal refund is due, it will be made without undue delay within the statutory 14 days from notice, using the same payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise at no cost.
Article 103.l of Spain’s consolidated General Consumer and User Protection Law excludes certain non-residential accommodation, catering and leisure-related services when a specific performance date or period is provided. A fixed-date session or retreat may qualify, but not every SAOMA service will be declared excluded by default. The classification and specific exception must be disclosed before contracting.
For other services started during the withdrawal period, express request requirements and information on proportionate costs will be respected; loss of the right upon full performance requires the statutory consent and acknowledgement conditions. Starting a service is not automatically treated as a waiver of withdrawal.
Mexico: revocation and consumer protection
Rights arising under the LFPC will be respected, including Article 56 revocation where the transaction falls within its scope. In applicable cases this provides five business days from delivery or signature, whichever occurs later, with a specific rule for services scheduled within ten business days or less of the purchase order. The Spanish leisure exception is not transferred to Mexico.
Application to each contracting channel must be reviewed before selling. A commercial condition does not remove rights arising from breach, deficient service, improper charges or misleading advertising, or legally required refunds or compensation. You may contact PROFECO.
If SAOMA cancels or changes an experience
If the service cannot be provided or is materially changed, alternatives and applicable refund or termination rights will be communicated. A voucher will not be imposed in place of a statutory refund without your agreement. A force majeure clause does not by itself remove all obligations or make every disruption non-refundable.
No-shows, late arrivals, participant-requested changes or health impediments will be addressed under previously disclosed, proportionate and valid terms. A safety decision will not automatically forfeit all amounts without assessing the contract and applicable law.
How to request cancellation
Operational written cancellation channel and required references: [TO BE CONFIRMED before bookings are enabled]. Once available, communicate your decision and booking reference and retain proof. Do not send diagnoses through the contact form; any exceptional documentation must be proportionately requested through a secure channel. The current form does not process cancellations.
Retreats and travel services
Third-party costs will not automatically be passed on as non-recoverable amounts. They must be disclosed, justified and permitted by applicable rules. If a retreat constitutes a package or linked travel arrangement, its specific rights and duties apply, not only this general policy. See Retreat Terms.
